During the renovation process of Väätsa Basic School in 2017 many sensors and energy meters were installed, technical systems and heat insulation were exchanged. To improve the energy performance of the building by producing renewable energy, solar panels (30 kW) and a wind turbine (1 kW) were installed on the roof. The aim was to achieve compliance with the A-class energy label, with a specific calculation cost of 84 kWh/m2 per year.

Uniflex designed and built a remote management, monitoring and data collection system that collects, stores and visualizes over 600 different continuous streams of data. In addition, a building automation solution was designed and built which controls heating and ventilation work according to the actual needs.
